Do Copper Peptides Actually Work for Hair Growth?

The short answer is yes, but with important qualifiers around which copper peptide, what concentration, and what you mean by 'work.' Most of the confusion about copper peptides for hair comes from products that contain the molecule at concentrations far below what the research actually used.
What the research shows
Copper peptide research for hair began in earnest in the early 2000s. The consistent findings across in vitro, ex vivo, and small clinical studies are:
- Copper peptides extend the anagen (active growth) phase of the follicle cycle.

What 'work' actually means
Copper peptides do not regrow follicles that have fully miniaturized, no topical does. What they do is keep more of your existing follicles in the growth phase for longer, so strands stay attached, grow thicker, and reach a length where they contribute to coverage.
